The latest Garden Room installation by Artisan Conservatories, Windows and Doors in Lixwm, North Wales has a Garden Room Roof exclusively developed by Prefix Systems.

This latest case study in came about when the homeowner wanted additional living space more in keeping with the existing house design, yet with a real sense of style and grandeur

From the base upwards the project took just over two days to complete, with the Garden Room Roof incorporating four hips and two Velux rooflights. The windows, doors and rendering were designed to help match into the existing fabric of the house and the Envirotile exterior of the roof, closely resembled the existing roof to the property.

There are a number of key features of the Garden Room Roof from Prefix, which incorporates fixed joint technology, unlike conservatory roofs that are designed to accommodate an amount of flex. It is also energy efficient and for specifiers, the warm roof construction ensures insulation performance with a U-value of just 0.17 W/m2K. The fact that the panels are pre-prepared in the factory and the offer of first build assistance is also something Prefix believes will ignite the sector for alternative additional living space.
