Sierra has announced that it will carry Yale locking systems across its casement window and PVC-U door ranges from the beginning of this month [Nov].

The latest in a series of additions to Sierra’s comprehensive product offering, the system delivers an enhanced level of security while giving Sierra installers access to one of the industry’s most widely recognised consumer brands.
Brian Webb, Sierra, said: “The product performs better, delivering an enhanced level of security and greater end-user peace of mind.

“But the brand association with Yale itself is almost as important. Consumer brands within the window industry are few and far between but Yale is a household name. We believe that delivers an advantage to our customers when they’re sitting down in front of the homeowner.”
The new Yale casement and PVC-U door locking mechanism also features a 10-year guarantee.
The launch comes just weeks after Sierra unveiled its new website and customer portal which gives Sierra installers access to real-time online order tracking as well as the latest downloads and product updates.
Webb added: “Sierra has gone through something of a rebirth in past six months and we have made significant investment in our product offer and service levels.

“We are underpinning that investment with increased levels of support to our customers, whether that’s direct lead generation or technical and sales support.

“The association we and our customers now have with the Yale sits within this strategy, giving Sierra installers an immediate commercial advantage through brand association in the pursuit of new business.”
