GLASSOLUTIONS REACHES FINALS OF PRESTIGIOUS INDUSTRY AWARDS

Glass processor, distributor and repairer Glassolutions has been recognised for its commitment to value-added service and product innovation in making the shortlist in the glazing industry’s most prestigious awards.

The company, which is part of the international Saint-Gobain group, is a finalist for the award of Glass Company of the Year in the G12 Awards - the glazing industry’s Oscars. Winners will be announced on November 23rd at the awards ceremony at central London’s exclusive Hilton Park Lane Hotel hosted by Patrick Kielty.

Glassolutions became the new name for Solaglas in March this year to encapsulate the true scope of its services and products – embraced with its new strapline ‘Your glass. Our world’. Its services range from EcoClear sealed unit manufacturing through to architectural glazing for some of the UK’s most high profile buildings, and 24/7 glazing repairs for many major insurance companies and high street retailers.

Over the last 12 months, the company has delivered new market opportunities through the launch of innovative products, including interior glazing with fabric interlayers and electrochromic glazing.
It has also extended its customer support with multi-million pound investment in new facilities including its Waterlands site, plus service initiatives underpinned by a new content-rich website complete with unique knowledge centre.

These developments represent investment totalling £2.2m to support the Glassolutions team’s even greater focus on adding-value to customers’ businesses through a solutions-driven approach.
