Swansea-based aluminium fabricator/installer AB Glass, has reported a record financial year, with profit margin up by 112% on sales up 10%
Showing its commitment to training and welfare, AB Glass has spent over £3 million on staff and associated costs during the past 12 months. This has included support provided to apprentices and training for employees in general.
Financial Director Sharron Newton said: “Our policy of retaining most of our profits within the company has proved to be invaluable as we build up strong reserves. This approach has allowed us to be able to support increasing levels of working capital, which has given the company the ability to successfully manage larger contracts and provide the platform to continue to deliver substantial projects moving forward.”
Managing Director Alan Brayley added: “We are very pleased with the annual results and continuing our strategy of well managed and planned growth, whilst building a resilient and robust business geared around quality of product and staff. We will continue to work hard on our business practices and resources to enable us to constantly deliver an outstanding quality product. I am confident that we will further build on AB Glass’ success in the year ahead.”
