Windows for Africa
23rd May 2017
Stockport-based ALEX TRADE FRAMES has sent windows half way round the world to support a project for orphaned or abandoned children in Kenya.
The charity Open Arms International is fundraising for its ongoing build project, the construction of a Medical Resource Building on the site of the Open Arms Village in the African country.
The project has been supported by local businesses and Alex Trade Frames has manufactured Kommerling.
Associate Director Lauren Tutton said: “It’s not often that you see a manufacturer from the UK supplying projects in Africa, so this is a major coup for us and a feel-good story for the industry. We’re proud to have supported the project and played a part in helping to improve living standards in this part of the world.”
