Ratings and review feature launched

QUOTATIS, the consumer and business quotation service for home improvements, has added a major new feature which offers its expanding network of contractors the opportunity to gain insight into their customers’ opinions.

Contractors will have their own company page, featuring their company logo, and will have access to a new ratings and review feature which allows consumers to give their contractor a star rating and a review in their own words.
Quotatis’ Head of Marketing Tom Crosswell said, “For many smaller companies this may be their prime source of feedback but for the larger ones with their own feedback system, it offers the benefit of completely independent data and reviews. The reviews are only from Quotatis users who have sought a quote from one of our sites or engaged the services of one of our members, so the problem of fake reviews, which other services suffer from, isn’t an issue.

“Our review system is a ‘closed loop’ one. This means it isn’t open to fake reviews in the same way other platforms are. You can only submit a review if you’ve had dealings with that particular contractor.”

Companies can gain valuable insight into the perception of their business, allowing them to assess every aspect of their consumer-facing product from pricing to telephone manner of staff. Quotatis monitors contractor ratings and its customer service team are on hand to offer help and advice on how to improve their rating.
