A warming gift for Georgi and family

Hull-based VEKA fabricator and installer YORKSHIRE WINDOWS AND DOORS. has come to the aid of a young leukaemia sufferer and her family who were struggling with horrendous heating bills through seriously outdated windows.
Beki Taylor and her family had been living in the property for just four months when they received a heating bill for £800.

But they had to keep the heating up in two year old daughter Georgi’s room because the child’s illness made her vulnerable to colds and flu – her last bout of flu had even landed her in Intensive Care.

When they turned to Yorkshire Windows and Doors, fitter Andy Winn was touched by their plight. Becki takes up the story: “When he came back with what we thought was an estimate, he just hugged me and said the company would like to fit all the windows and doors as a gift from them and their suppliers.”
