Smoke ventilation interest

VENT ENGINEERING reports a successful FIT 2019 with visitors learning more about its smoke ventilation products, especially their new Ventec Elite Certified AOV Smoke Window.

“The Ventec Elite attracted a lot of interest at the show and has now been specified on a number of projects, which is a real positive,” said sales manager Alan Riggs.

enquiries were split with most of the interest shown in natural ventilation, actuator and control products, he added: “However, this year we did see a rise in enquiries for our smoke ventilation products, arguably reflecting changes in legislation and building regulations.”

On the event itself, he added: “The wide variety of exhibitors covering all aspects of the industry contributed to generating plenty of interest and enquiries for the ventilation systems we can offer to residential, commercial and industrial sectors across the UK. Overall, we were impressed with how the show worked really well for us!”
