The conversion of a Victorian warehouse into residential accommodation has used Spectus Elite 70 doorsets manufactured by Derbyshire-based Spectus fabricator Titan Trade Windows and installed by The Right Window Company of  Leicestershire.

The clients chose a bevelled profile in cream, with one entrance replaced by a single residential doorset set into a glazed section and the other by large French doors.
Ben Vowles, operations manager at Titan, added that the position of the mullions was key in ensuring the sightlines were intact with the first floor frames and also gave internal clearance for the stairs.

He continued: “We used the structural mullion profiles not only between the shaped frames and doorset frames but also between the doors and side lights. This gave us the high quality aesthetic finish the project required.

“The level of support we were able to offer thanks to the technical team at Epwin Window Systems meant The Right Window Company had the confidence in us to manufacture and deliver the doorsets. This in turn allowed them to focus on the installation and care for their customer.”
