New for 2018

SCHUECO UK says innovations and improvements have been introduced for the 2018 Schueco Excellence Awards for Design and Innovation competition.

Among them, videos of the winning entries will be shown at the Gala Luncheon celebrating the Awards. They will also be featured in a 24-page AT supplement and a video of the winners will be broadcast on the Schueco UK and AT websites.

Also, a second live Excellence Awards event to be staged at a London venue, taking the form of a half-day Technical Seminar at which speakers will review some of the winning entries and provide in-depth analysis focusing on the collaboration, expertise and product design of each project.

Confirmed names for the panel of judges include Chairman, Ken Shuttleworth, Make architects; Denise Bennetts of Bennetts Associates; Carl Turner, Carl Turner Architects and Jason Flanagan of Flanagan Lawrence. Specialist cladding consultants are yet to be named.

The categories for the awards are: commercial, cultural, education, health, individual house, individual house improvement, refurbishment, residential development, steel project and specialist contractor. There will also be a Schueco Special Merit Award for Overall Excellence.
