WHS Halo’s Panacea gets remote controlWHS Halo is improving support to users of Panacea, its exclusive door and window production package; with the introduction of a new facility called Teamviewer. This piece of software allows Field Systems Consultants (FSCs) to access customers’ computers remotely using the Internet. Once connected, their Panacea installation can be remotely updated – and while the customer watches in real time! Teamviewer also allows for real-time problem solving; as the Panacea user can recreate issues on screen; and – as the FSC witnesses the problem first-hand – obtain technical solutions there and then. Teamviewer can also be used to demonstrate Panacea. This is achieved by allowing users to view the FSC’s computers demonstration modules that are not part of the customer’s system. The program can also be used to send large files over the Internet to users using file transfer protocol. This allows FSCs to deliver large customers’ files, such as Panacea installation programs, over the net. Conversely customers can able to send similarly large files (material lists etc) in return. All of these tasks can be performed from the desk without needing a visit from a support engineer. For further information, please contact:
