Aztec delivers a way out with fire exit doorsAztec Windows (Coventry) Ltd – the Midlands-based WHS Halo System 10 fabricator – is enhancing its product portfolio with the introduction of fire exit doors. Manufactured from the new, revised System 10, the doors combine the high-engineering quality of WHS Halo with the latest innovative fire-exit systems from Mila. A truly secure door, it uses, unlike a conventional ‘panic’ door; a multi-point locking system which greatly improves security over the traditional face-fixed locking bolt system and also delivers a high-quality aesthetic. Based on a range of new 70mm sculptured and chamfered sections, ‘new’ System 10 offers comprehensive interchangeability of sashes, beads, ancillaries, reinforcements, mouldings, hardware and so on. System 10 also offers a choice of sculptured or chamfered profiles and – at a stroke – sash sections are rendered interchangeable and compatible with WHS Halo’s Rustique system. In hardware terms, the Aztec Fire Exit Door combines Roto 108 Flag hinges with the Mila Pin Panic Bar kit. Tested and certified to EN 1125 – the latest European standard for Panic Exit Device – the system provides enhanced security through a multi-point lock with twin 20mm throw pins and reversible latch and deadbolt. Safety and ease of exit is satisfied through a smooth locking mechanism and panic bar. For further information, please contact: |
