Trophies galore for Team Crystal’s netball and polo teams

Team Crystal’s ladies netball team, one of four sports sponsored by National trade fabricator, Crystal Direct, completed a successful season this year, winning a cup and the runners up Shield in the Heritage League Division one. The team also won the ‘Fairest players of the year’ award (voted for by the other teams), for the seventh consecutive year.

Rachael Dalton, Accounts Manager at Crystal Direct and Umpire for Team Crystal, explains: “We really couldn’t have done so well this season without the sponsorship and support of Crystal. Some of the women are working mums and budgets are tight, so we’re grateful for Chairman Martin Randall’s help. He understands the benefits of keeping fit and is the best sponsor we’ve had! We’re starting the new season with great energy!”

But the netball team wasn’t the only one celebrating a successful season. Team Crystal’s polo team won a record 18 out of 19 games played this season. Martin Randall, who sponsors and takes part in the sport, was awarded Hertfordshire Polo Club’s trophy for ‘Best Improved Player of the season. Result!
