Facta wins the double at the CMA and BIMAS 2008
It was a tale of two London functions for B2B PR specialist Facta – best known in the sector for its work for WHS Halo and HomePro/ FairTrades – this winter when it won two awards at different ceremonies on the same night.
The agency had to divide its efforts to first collect the best B2B Measurements & Results trophy at the British Interactive Media Association Awards. Simultaneously, across town, a second contingent was present at the Construction Marketing Awards (CMA) to scoop top honours in the Best Use of Other Digital Communications category. The company was also a CMA finalist for Best Use of PR.
The two awards capped a trophy bonanza for Facta last quarter – with the agency’s work also picking up Marketing Campaign of the Year in the Electrical Industry Awards 2008.
“Necessarily, we’re delighted,” said Facta Partner Johnny Dobbyn, speaking about the awards. “We were founded on the basis of believing a niche existed for an agency that is evangelical about media and marketing communications focused on clarity, efficiency and, above all, action.
Of course, given that, it is all too easy for us to just assert that “we do what we say on the tin”, so these awards are a critical way of proving that externally and internally; and have helped us benchmark our campaigns against the best”.
