Eurocell Acquires Cavalok

Eurocell Profiles Ltd, the UK’s leading manufacturer and distributor of quality PVC-u systems, has today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets and operations of Cavalok Building Products.

Cavalok is the only manufacturer of BBA-accredited cavity closure systems made from 100% post-consumer recycled PVC-u. The Cavalok product range is widely used for brick/block, steel and timber frame buildings in the new build residential and commercial sectors. The BigBlok, Economy and Cavalok products speed up installation of windows on site as well as improving the energy efficiency of buildings.

Patrick Bateman, Chief Executive Officer of Eurocell, explains “Our first priority with any acquisition is to ensure we achieve a strategic fit with our existing business and add value to our customers. Cavalok met both these criteria because it is the market leader, offering a range of quality products which will enhance our position in the new build sector further.”

Fabricators, contractors and specifiers will now benefit from a choice of Cavalok and Eurocell cavity closure systems, all manufactured using 100% recycled PVC-u for sustainable use of raw materials.
