All aboard

Nottingham-based Classic Doors and Windows recently placed an advert for the company on a bus.

Chris Shaw of Classic, said: “We’re always seeing buses in the local area and it seemed like a high visibility place to advertise – and it seems it is because we’ve already secured a new contract as a result.”

The bus advertisement is part of a wider brand recognition exercise being undertaken by the company. It’s the first time the company has tried such an approach: passing trade and word of mouth has seen the company grow steadily since it was founded in 1999 but Chris decided the time was right to move his brand forward. As well as advertising on the bus, Classic is also sponsoring two traffic islands in the town and advertising in a local magazine.

Classic Doors and Windows manufactures windows, doors and conservatories for the retail, trade and commercial markets. It has been a Deceuninck fabricator for six years and manufactures the systems house’s 2500 series. Over 60% of Classic’s customers come via referrals. “We don’t rely on special gimmicks or pushy sales techniques, just high quality products and customer service with a full 10 year insurance backed guarantee,” Chris said.
