HWL WINDOWS EXPANDS WITH NEW APPOINTMENTS

Leeds-based HWL Windows Group, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of windows and doors to the trade, has appointed Andy Powell as Production Manager and Patsy Jefferson as Area Sales Manager.
 
Andy has worked for 19 years at Parker Hannifin, a major international oil and gas filtration equipment manufacturer, where he spent the last 10 years as Production Manager.  Andy has extensive experience in managing a team and introducing manufacturing efficiencies and process improvements across a large production business.  His role will see him heading up the HWL production team to enhance customer service levels and maintain delivery performance, as the business continues with its ambitious expansion plans.
 
Andy will report to Operations Manager Richard Carr, who said: “Andy will play a key role in ensuring we retain our reputation for delivering the highest quality door and window products within a short lead time to our trade customers across the UK.  We are very excited about our plans for introducing further production efficiencies and are looking forward to the benefits this brings to our customers.”
 
Patsy Jefferson has joined the company as Area Sales Manager.  She has 10 years in window and door hardware sales for Avocet Hardware in Brighouse.  Patsy will be responsible for the development of new business opportunities for HWL in the North and North West of England.
