STRENGTH IN SUPPLY CHAIN
21st October 2014

Specialist commercial window installer The Window Company (Contracts) is proudly promoting the strength of its supply chain after its main Rehau frame supplier was shortlisted alongside it in the finals of this year’s glass and glazing G-Awards.

Having been shortlisted recently in the Installer of the Year category, the company is now delighted to announce that its main Rehau supplier Polyframe Trade is also on the shortlist for the equally competitive Fabricator of the Year award.

The Window Company (Contracts)’ Managing Director David Thornton said: “We always stress the importance of the strength within our supply chain to all of the main contractors and clients that we work with.

“In terms of product quality and reliability, efficiency and on time deliveries, it really matters that we choose the right fabricator for the window and doors that we fit. The fact that we have both reached the finals of the industry’s most prestigious awards scheme shows that in Polyframe we have the right partner.”

The Window Company (Contracts) works closely with Polyframe and in turn with PVC-U system supplier Rehau to maximise the potential benefits for its customers.

David Thornton adds: “We firmly believe that ours is a partnership of equals. We are all specialists at what we do and when we work closely together, it is the customer who ultimately benefits.”

The Window Company (Contracts) stresses that, in the commercial market in particular, support from Polyframe and from REHAU is a key element in its success.

David Thornton continues: “We are offering clients and main contractors all the benefits of a strong and secure supply chain. We are a multi-million pound turnover business and we have the backing of two giants of the industry. Rehau has been a winner at the G-Awards in each of the past three years and this year both ourselves and Polyframe are in the finals which I think shows that together we make a winning team.”

David Eagle, General Manager at Polyframe’s Norwich production facility, was equally complimentary. He said: “The Window Company (Contracts) is a great company to deal with. They are supremely efficient, responsive and quality focused and are a friendly and cooperative team. We are happy to support them as they expand and as their reputation grows.”

The winners of the this year’s G-Awards will be announced at the London Hilton Park Lane on Friday 21 November at an awards ceremony hosted by Scottish comedian Kevin Bridges.
