Commercial IGU manufacturer DUAL SEAL GLASS has promoted Richard Morris and Nigel Meredith to become joint managing directors following the retirement of Geoff Hancock, who was MD for ten years. The two will work alongside technical director John Pearson, who took up his post two years ago after more than seven years as a technical expert within one of the major float glass manufacturers.

Richard, who joined Dual Seal Glass last year, has been involved in manufacturing businesses for over 30 years. He has worked at senior and board level for the last 15 years, including most recently as projects director for a £256m turnover PLC.

Richard’s broad industry experience is complemented by Nigel’s three decades of glass expertise and personal connection to the business, having founded Dual Seal Glass with his father 21 years ago and most recently taking the role of commercial director. Nigel was instrumental in building the business up to its current scale, taking it from a £750k business in 1995 to a turnover of £14.5m today.
