The Angel Ventlock child safety window restrictor from Mighton Products has won a Readers’ Choice Award in an annual poll in US trade journal Door and Window Market (DWM).

Distributed in the US by Roto Frank of America Inc., Angel Ventlock was noted for helping to prevent deaths and injuries to children by limiting the window opening to four inches or less. The products were cited as conforming ‘100 percent’ to relevant US safety standards.

To achieve this sort of recognition shows that the product is as fresh and effective as ever and a proven solution to preventing child death and injury caused by falling from open windows.”

The Angel Ventlock range meets US, UK and European standards and legislation including ASTM F2090-2010 and BS EN 14351-1:2006, BS EN 8213-1-2004, BS EN 14609:2004. Products are available for installation on all window types for OEM and retrofit. In the UK, Angel Ventlock restrictors have been tested by Secured By Design and PAS24.
