Tough decision

RAVENSBY GLASS of Dundee is now producing toughened laminate glass in-house after investing in a Pujol 100 50 x 28 laminator. Its structural glass is toughened in accordance with BS EN 14449 with options including clear, tinted or coloured glass. The range also includes a low iron glass option offering a noticeably clearer float glass supplied to the balustrade and fenestration markets.

Commercial Director Scott Duncan said: “The increased commercial market demand for laminated glass products, particularly toughened and heat strengthened, was a key motivator in the installation of the new machinery to ensure we meet our customers’ future product requirements.”
