CENSolutions Offers Compliance for Everyone!
21st February 2012

CENSolutions, the leading consultancy and test facility for the window, door and glazing industries, is pleased to announce the launch of its revised three tier CMS Quality Mark, which now includes tailored packages to suit all companies. Wayne Rogerson, Joint Managing Director of CENSolutions comments: “Our CMS Quality Mark has been available for some time and has proved to be very successful. With the addition of the Secured by Design (SBD) recognition for our certification scheme, and in celebration of the London 2012 Olympics, the CENSolutions BS EN 14351 CMS Quality Mark is now available in a gold, silver and bronze package.

“The Bronze package is the basic entry level scheme which ensures customers are compliant with the minimum requirements of BS EN 14351 and enabling products to be CE Marked. From July 2013, CE Marking will be compulsory for products manufactured by all window, door and glass companies.

“The Silver package will ensure minimum compliance with BS EN 14351 as well as compliance with BS 6375, BS EN 12210, BS EN 1026 and BS EN 1027 for weather performance. Silver package customers also benefit from annual window and/or door testing - including the important requirement for windows and doors to be tested for weather performance - plus bi-annual auditing to satisfy the technical requirements of key specifiers.

“Customers that want to compete for contracts requiring Secured by Design can sign up for our Gold package which includes everything in the silver package with the addition of BS 7950, or BS EN 1627-30 and/or PAS 24-09 for enhanced security. Working in partnership with ER Certification and Wintech we can offer these customers annual window and door testing, with bi-annual auditing to satisfy the technical requirements of the key specifiers such as Secured by Design.

“CENSolutions was set up in 2003 to offer an improved service using a plain English approach to support window, door and glass companies through their third party certification requirements. We hope this new three tiered CMS Quality Mark system will make it easier for companies to know what their requirements are and how we can offer a tailor made solution for them.”
