Drive for efficiency

Synseal said it was determined to be as environmentally friendly as possible, and is looking at all aspects of the company to achieve this.  

One of these initiatives is being considered by the transport department. Don Porter Synseal’s transport manager said: “Synseal’s 40+ trucks clock up between them over 2m miles a year, so we are embarking on a programme over the next couple of years to replace the entire fleet with new vehicles that give lower exhaust emissions and increased fuel economy.”

Synseal aims to achieve ISO 14001 environmental accreditation within the next 12 months.
