NWL bonds with new table

North Western Lead Co (NWL) has unveiled a second generation UV light table, which has made curing adhesive from below even quicker and easier than before. The joint development between NWL and UV Light Technology – a specialist in the field of UV lamps – follows an intensive period of research with NWL’s customers.

The new UV table, which is suitable for table top use, now benefits from six 36W UV tubes to provide a rapid, even cure on an illumination area which is 60% bigger than the previous model. With 1200mm x 600mm of working space, the new model – which is called the 911 Bonding Table – is more practical to use, even with large glass panels.

Designed to be used with a number of adhesives, especially NWL’s Decra Bond 911 LV adhesive, the 911 Bonding Table safely and reliably cures at the touch of a button. The operator simply sets the timer before the first use, depending on the curing time required, and the machine does the rest.

Stephen Hart, managing director of NWL, said: “Our Decra Bond 911 LV adhesive has been extremely popular since its launch a few months ago, so it made sense that the new table would integrate with it, but would also work for other adhesives too. We are delighted with the end result and are confident that our customers will recognise the enormous benefits it will bring to their businesses.”
