Bristol based fabricator-installer, CR Windows has signed up to Edgetech’s Super Spacer Dealership. CR Windows currently offers its customers C rated windows as standard and A rated windows for a small premium.
Dean Lancaster, one of the three partners running the company explained: “We believe the Window Energy Ratings that Super Spacer has helped us achieve, is a significant factor in the growth, despite the downturn. February this year gave us our best retail sales (which make up approximately 80% of our business) since last August, and March is set to hit similar levels.
“We had heard about Window Energy Ratings and made some enquiries but as it was still a relatively new concept, not many people seemed to know what you needed to do to achieve them, let alone be able to support you through the process. We met Edgetech on its stand at Glassex last year and we were enlightened! We knew a bit about warm edge technology at that point and had come across another supplier, but when we spoke to Edgetech we could see they were different. CR Windows now buys its sealed units from Edgetech customer, Seleda Quality Units.
