Anglian wins second Lewisham contractAnglian Building Products has secured a £812k window and door refurbishment contract with London & Quadrant (L&Q), one of the UK’s largest Housing Associations. Anglian commenced the project in March to replace existing windows and doors to more than 500 homes across the Grove Park estate in Lewisham. The project follows the stock transfer of 1,400 properties on the estate from the London Borough of Lewisham. Over the next 30 years, L&Q will invest £60m in Grove Park, with £20m being spent in the first five years alone. This investment will ensure that residents benefit from well maintained homes and safer communities. All products are made-to-measure to suit each individual aperture, and residents have an individual choice of door design and colour. This is the second major project secured by Anglian Building Products in the Lewisham Borough, as the company are now over halfway through a £10m project for Phoenix Community Housing. Both projects are managed from the South London installation centre in Sydenham. Works commenced on the Grove Park estate in March 09 and will run for a period of 21 weeks. |
