Window and door manufacturer Industrial Services Group have made the move to adopt Halo systems from The VEKA UK Group after more than 20 years with their previous supplier.

Industrial Services Group (ISG) was attracted by the 'partnering' approach the company offers. General Manager Peter Keeley explains: “We feel that, with The VEKA UK Group, we haven't just taken on a new product, but a host of support services too.

“In the short time we've been working with The VEKA UK Group, it has quickly become apparent that there is an energy we just haven't felt for a while; a partner working closely with us, helping and looking to support all aspects of our business.

“We didn't take the decision lightly, but changing systems to The VEKA UK Group allows us to access a host of support services that will help us to grow as a business. As a Council-owned fabricator and installer of windows, doors and curtain walling, we have concentrated on supplying installation companies, building firms and Local Authorities in our immediate local area. Now, we can partner with The VEKA UK Group's Commercial team and Approved Installer Scheme to develop our business and supply our high quality products further afield. We also have the confidence that, with Halo systems, we can offer a product that meets the specification of any commercial contract or Local Authority project.”

ISG's status as a 'Social Enterprise' makes it the perfect supplier for projects that promote social responsibility. ISG is owned by Bradford Council, but run autonomously, with a responsibility to meet all expected financial and social objectives. The company uses its commercial activities to generate opportunities for local, disabled people in long-term unemployment, providing them with work-based skills to increase their employability.

Peter adds: “As a Social Enterprise, our trading profits are always reinvested back into the business. Effectively, the more commercially successful we become, the more opportunities we can offer to disabled people throughout Bradford and West Yorkshire.
