Technical guide relaunched
20th September 2016

Building materials manufacturer Kestrel has launched a brand new specification guide, which has the most up to date technical information for the brand’s products.

The guide contains diagrams, products and fitting advice for all of Kestrel’s roofline, cladding and window-line ranges.

Technical services supervisor for Kestrel, Shane Torn, explained that the guide is aimed at architects, architectural technicians, specifiers, house builders and maintenance managers.

“The guide is primarily for specifiers, but it also contains fitting instructions for all of the roofline, cladding and window-line products,” he said.

“There is an online version on the Kestrel website, which can be accessed anywhere, so with the fitting instructions it can be a useful resource for installers as well.”

This is the ninth version of the Kestrel Specification Guide, which is updated periodically to ensure that all of the details are up to date.

Along with technical specifications, the guide also contains information on the company’s standards, which include ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BES 6001, Kitemark KM 606759 as well as BBA 11/4835 and BBA 11/4839.

This is one of a number of technical documents published by Kestrel, which include CAD drawings and technical bulletins detailing a range of subjects from fitting Kavex textured cladding through to specifying white cladding installations and fitting fascia boards for extreme winter conditions.
