Five-star project
Vicaima developed customised doors and frames, as well as arches and mouldings, for the Cascade Resort in Lagos, Portugal, which has been influenced by Roman and Moorish architecture.
The rooms at the Cascade Resort, in Ponta da Piedade on the Algarve reflect the style of four Continents, bringing African, Asian, South American and European architecture together. The complex offers self-contained apartments and villas all with panoramic balconies, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi access, underground parking, sports academy, medical centre and spa.
Vicaima was chosen to provide high levels of specification incorporating quality design and complimentary finishes which would be in keeping with this prestigious development..
Entrances to rooms within the five-star development were fitted with the Portaro EI30 AC40 dB, which has an electronic lock, guaranteed 30 minute fire resistance and a sound reduction up to 40 Db.
The development also included other products such as the Portaro EI60 for emergency exits, the Portaro Swinging EI30 for the catering area, sliding room height doors and other products with acoustic characteristics.
