The Modplan team has just returned from Denmark after attending the latest information day in support of Modplan Nordic, its Scandinavian operation.
Heidi Sachs, Modplan’s managing director said: “The latest information day has proved extremely valuable once again. As a result of seeing what we had to offer, a dealer from Sweden has taken on a display site to showcase our products and will be exhibiting our range at shows in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.
“Our German visitors are really committed to the Modplan range and we are expecting to see sales in this territory take off from November onwards, especially sales of our orangeries.”
The information day had been planned after a well-received day back in May. A familiar concept in the Scandinavian market, information days offer the opportunity to build and develop strong relationships between supplier and dealer. Visitors from Norway, Sweden, Germany, the Faroe Islands, Finland and Lithuania all attended the day, which was held at Vica’s offices in Kolding, Denmark. They were able to explore the full range of Vica and Modplan Nordic’s products, all on display in one of the largest indoor showrooms in Scandinavia.
As well as the orangery in which the German delegates were so interested, the day’s attendees were also able to examine Modplan Nordic’s range of pavilions and conservatories. They could also take a closer look at Modplan’s Vertex roofing system. The system is perfect for withstanding hostile Scandivanian weather conditions, with its unique one piece peripheral main beam and integral gutter it is strong enough to withstand the heaviest snowfall.
