Open house

RegaLead has announced that its first open house – held to mark the opening of new warehousing and training facility in Sharston, Manchester – was a success.

“With the generous support of our decorative glass partners across the industry – including: UV adhesives and curling equipment supplier UV-Tek; Czech based manufacturer of screen printable sandblast resist and ceramic transfers for toughened glass GDS; Nanaogate, the supplier of Nano protection coatings for clear and etched glass; Italian supplier of sandblast vinyls and pre-drawn sandblast design CDs, FC; the leading supplier of float compatible fused glass products Vidrearte; Italian designers and manufacturers of fused glass tiles Vetro; and the supplier of fused glass kilns, Tornati Forni – we were able to hold a mini exhibition specifically within our specialist area of decorative products for the flat glass industry,” explained Guy Hubble, joint managing director of RegaLead.

“As well as product focus, we also had solutions focussed representation from CENSolutions, WindowCad, Clear Thinking Software, Refresh Media and Edgetech. We had over 100 people through the door on the day with visitors arriving from far afield to see what we had on show.

“Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to speak directly with suppliers about each of the products and learn about the latest technologies available for the decoration of flat glass. Throughout the afternoon we ran tours of our manufacturing facility, based at our head office nearby, so once guests had seen all they needed to within the exhibition hall, they had the opportunity to meet our team and learn more about our core business at RegaLead.”

Alan Fielder, sales and marketing director of Edgetech, said:”Edgetech was really pleased to be invited to the RegaLead Open House to demonstrate our manual Super Spacer applicator and we were really impressed with the professional event that Guy and his team put together. We made some great new contacts on the day and came away with several good quality leads because the event was set up entirely with the exhibitors and visitors in mind, which made it a targeted and extremely useful day for everyone involved. With the lack of other exhibitions in the glass industry today, this was a really good idea, well executed."
