Double R Glass & Roofing Systems, supplier of glass sealed units and conservatory roof kits, has promoted Neil Spicer to the role of general manager.

Neil, who has spent his working life within the glass industry, joined Edgetech customer Double R a little over two years ago and brought with him extensive knowledge of production methods and systems.

Well known within the industry, Neil’s enthusiasm and professionalism will help in Double R’s desire to continue to develop on the basis of their commitment to customer service and high quality products, the company said in a release.

Double R’s managing director, Ian Sims, said: “The directors are highly delighted that Neil has accepted this promotion. During the last two years, he has proven to be an asset to Double R and we are confident that the company’s future is stronger because of this appointment.”
