Charity sky dive

Alex Hudson, 21 and Georgina Hudson,18 joined their Dad, Kevin Hudson in a sky dive from 15,000 feet from a plane to raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance on Saturday 3rd September.

They all jumped 15,000 feet in a tandem sky dive from a plane from Hibaldstow airfield near Brigg, North Lincolnshire and raised more than £700.

“I am a director of new Life Windows in Thirsk and we travel all over Yorkshire fitting windows and due to the amount of travel unfortunately have seen a few bad car crashes that the Yorkshire Air Ambulance have needed to attend. It is such a worthwhile charity that saves lives and you never know when you or a family member might need them,” explained Kevin when asked why they chose that particular charity.

Kevin regularly fits windows at great heights; sometimes even in cherry pickers however is a little afraid of very high heights. However his eldest Daughter Alex is scared of heights and said: “I was really scared but my family were really supportive and encouraged me and when I thought of all the money we were raising money for I was able to jump. It was a fantastic experience and I’d definitely recommend to anyone who is a thrill seeker!”
