Warmseal, the north east installer that has pledged to honour all outstanding deposits with the defunct Safeglaze, has reacted angrily to a statement by the GGF suggesting that customers are still worried that the contracts may still be in some doubt.
Director Steve Miller today told The Glazine: “We have now contacted every single customer with work pending with our full assurance that we will complete all the deposit-paid orders – in some cases at a loss to ourselves – and we are amazed at why the GGF should make such a statement at this time.”

Today, the GGF issued a statement from its chief executive Kevin Buckley disclaiming any connection with Safeglaze and adding: “Recent media coverage would indicate that a number of current and future Safeglaze customers are in a state of confusion and are concerned as to where they stand with regards to their guarantees, paid deposits and incomplete installations.”
Steve Miller last week said Warmseal had set up a team to contact all outstanding Safeglaze customers – as many as 2,000 in total – with the company’s assurance that the work would be completed and all deposits honoured. Today, he told The Glazine that the task had now been completed.
Safeglaze, which was set up last year as a rival to Safestyle, had been placed in administration on October 30 after the latter ended a court battle between the two by securing a non-compete agreement with Mitu Misra, the original Safestyle founder and more recently the man behind the newcomer for a conditional cash consideration of up to £2million to Misra READ STORY.
