Midlands based PVC-U fabricator CENTRALRPL has added the Optima Heritage Flush Casement to its product portfolio.

Sales director Martyn Elwell “When looking to renovate a more traditional property, it’s not easy to find a PVC-U product that truly mimics the appearance of traditional wooden sash windows and often means our installer customers will steer away from these types of projects.

“We can now supply our customers with a PVC-U product that not only offers a like-for-like replacement that will maintain the character of a traditional property, but also provides the homeowner with all the benefits associated with PVC-U. Suffer no more the draughts or painted shut windows that many homeowners live with unnecessarily, and no secondary glazing required!

“We offer the Heritage Flush Casement with standard welded corners, with seamless, almost invisible, welds and also a fully mechanical version. We also offer triple seals for enhanced efficiency.

He concluded: “The Heritage Flush Casement was one of the main drivers for making a full a system move to Optima last year. While we’ve been offering the range for some time now, we wanted to get the basics right before adding the more sophisticated products into the manufacturing mix.

The move follows the company’s investment in a heritage machinery package from Haffner Murat including a plc-controlled milling station and a KC258/HL Two Head Corner Welder that recreates the traditional mechanical butt joint on the welded corner and creates an internal weld.
