Aluminium move

EPWIN WINDOW SYSTEMS has endorsed the launch of its Stellar aluminium window and door system by joining the Council for Aluminium in Building (CAB).

CAB provides technical information and guidance on regulations, standards and best practice to members including consultants, fabricators, installers, systems companies and specialist manufacturers and suppliers.

Epwin launched Stellar at the FIT Show earlier this year. It is said to be up to 20% quicker to fabricate, using less materials and reduce stockholding, as well as being quicker to install thanks to features such as a pre-gasketed knock-in bead.

Marketing manager Gerald Allen said: “We take our responsibilities towards the sectors we work in very seriously. With the launch of Stellar, it was important to us to join the biggest trade association for the material.”
