Peace of mind secured

Danny Basden has joined Luton–based hardware distributor Windowparts where he takes up a senior sales and marketing role.

Windowparts is the UK’s leading supplier of window and door handles, fittings and accessories. Trading for over 10 years, it specialises in the spares, repairs, maintenance and retro-fit double glazing markets.

Danny joined Windowparts from Locksafe UK, a distributor for the high-security Astral S cylinder lock. He was asked by Windowparts to attend its stand at the recent Glassex/Interbuild exhibition. Following a highly successful show, Locksafe was appointed as a Windowparts stockist for the North of England.
As a result of this it was felt that he could serve both parties better if he was
based at Windowparts.

Well known in the glazing industry, having worked for several major companies in senior positions, Danny brings wide ranging skills and years of experience to his new role.

Commenting on his new role, he said: “I am delighted to have joined Windowparts, a company with a superb product range and a clear strategy for growth. By specialising in the repair and maintenance market they have carved out a successful niche for themselves. I worked with Windowparts at Glassex/Interbuild and soon realised from the level of interest and the large number of enquiries that this was a company going places.”
