Rising golf star
Schüco has congratulated its youngest brand ambassador on an extraordinary tour season.
Martin Kaymer capped off a long, exciting and successful season by finishing in an exceptional third place in the Race to Dubai. It was a season that brought the 24-year-old professional golfer many highlights, such as a triumph in the Open de France and a victory in the Scottish Open in July. As a result, Kaymer, who was born in Düsseldorf, secured a position among the world’s top 20 golfers for the first time.
“Schüco is very pleased to congratulate Martin Kaymer on an outstanding season. Our brand ambassador played a terrific European Tour and turned in extraordinary performances,” said Dirk U Hindrichs, the president and CEO of Schüco International. “Martin Kaymer has rapidly become one of the world’s top golfers. He didn’t let himself get ruffled by his break due to injury and is already achieving great results again. That deserves the utmost respect. We’re proud of our brand ambassador, who together with Schüco is teeing off for climate protection. We wish him all the best for the new season and are happy to offer him our support.”
Alongside Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie, Miguel Ángel Jiménez and Grégory Havret, Martin Kaymer is the youngest of the prominent Schüco brand ambassadors. The five world-class golfers represent Schüco’s corporate mission “Energy2 – saving energy and generating energy” around the globe.
