Nathan Barr is new ODL MD

Liverpool based ODL Europe has announced the appointment of former Veka head of sales Nathan Barr as Managing Director for the business as successor to Mark Towers who has left to pursue other business interests.

Nathan, who holds a degree in engineering and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, started his career as an apprentice toolmaker at the age of sixteen, so has always had a keen eye for manufacturing and quality, which he has continued to develop within the roles over his 20-plus-year career in the industry.

Nathan said of his appointment: “Seeing the extensive offering that ODL Europe has, including its enclosed blinds product range and composite doors, I feel that now is the right time to ‘blow our trumpet’ and make the industry at large more aware of our extensive product range.
“I am seeing this as a great opportunity and with the support of the global ODL brand, I am very much looking forward to getting to know the future needs of both our existing and new customers over the coming months.”

Mark Towers replied: “I feel extremely pleased with the choice of Nathan for the role of Managing Director and I feel strongly that he has all of the experience and personal attributes to take the ODL brands under his stewardship, to even greater heights. I wish Nathan and the team every success in taking over the reins.”
