Soaring doors
19th June 2018

VIRTUOSO DOORS, which became part of the Customade Group last year, has celebrated its biggest ever sales month with figures for May up by 50% year-on-year.

Managing director Tony Craggs said: “It’s been an incredible time and we are absolutely delighted to celebrate the biggest sales month in our 37-year history. Demand for our range of precision manufactured doors has snowballed in the last 12 months and sales have now reached an all-time high.”

Virtuoso Doors’ customer Windows 4u (Scotland) has also celebrated a record month. Drew Smith, director, congratulated Virtuoso Doors and said: “Well done to you all on your fantastic growth. Your professionalism and service has helped my company to also achieve a record-breaking month. Long may it continue!”

Virtuoso’s growth strategy is underpinned by new product development and much of the firm’s success has been driven by the market response to Virtu-AL, the aluminium textured, non-woodgrain finish composite door. Its rising popularity among installers now means that it accounts for a large proportion of Virtuoso Doors sales.

“Virtu-AL has been a key addition to the Virtuoso range,” Tony added. “The feedback we’ve received from customers, both old and new, to Virtu-AL has been amazing and it’s already one of our best-sellers. But we’re not stopping there and we will be launching another industry first very soon. The UK’s first aluminium outer frame for a composite door will complement Virtu-AL perfectly and its launch makes us the only manufacturer in the industry to now offer a choice of both aluminium and PVCu frames for composite doors.”
