Hailsham-based TRADESMITH is the latest trade manufacturer to take on The Residence Collection, with a dedicated new factory to serve the South East with R7 and R9 windows and doors.

Tradesmith is fully mechanically jointing all windows and doors from the collection. With full set-up and technical support provided, this new manufacturing partner is also building a split-level showroom, so visiting installers and developers can see R7 and R9 windows and doors for themselves.

It will also be supplying the newly relaunched R9 Solidor range of composite doors to complement Residence windows.

Managing director Mark Hutchinson said: “After a comprehensive review we chose to partner The Residence Collection. We invested in a new factory unit dedicated to making them to a high Residence specification with mechanical joints and glass bonding. It’s early days, but the response from customers has been very positive, and we’ve already opened doors to new prospects.”

Residence Collection sales and marketing director Sarah Hitchings concluded: “They are perfectly located in Sussex and have bold plans for the business which we look forward to fully supporting with our sales, technical and marketing resources.”
