Dollar Bay, Isle of Dogs

AGC has supplied around 17,000m2 of Ipasol solar control glass for Dollar Bay, a new residential re-development at South Dock in the Isle of Dogs, East London.

The 31-storey residential building includes 125 apartments with double or triple aspects with views across Canary Wharf, the Thames and Greenwich.

Each property has a winter garden and enclosed balcony, with floor to ceiling windows.

A combination of Ipasol solar control glass in Bright White and Ipasol Neutral 70/39 on low iron glass was specified by architects SimpsonHaugh & Partners as part of the overall energy strategy for the building.

Dollar Bay has won a number of Awards, most recently the 2018 London Planning Award: Best New Iconic Building or Scheme.
