Premier Trade purchase new Schirmero

With business volumes increasing and the urgent need to replace existing machinery, Premier Trade Frames turned to Winmac to buy a new cutting and machining centre.
They decided on a SCHIRMER BAZ 1000-G6-VU2-Tandem, after they had seen the machine in operation.

Jason Powell, Production Director said “We have the machine working fully in production and are very pleased with the output. To date we have achieved output figures of 2000 cut and prepared pieces in an 8 hour working shift, these pieces include frame drainage, keep position marking, door preparation (both frame and sash) and transom /mullion preparation, including all cut combinations of arrow-heads, mitres and “Y” cutting, this also includes approximately 40% night vent routing.”

The installed BAZ 1000-G6-VU2-Tandem has many features including: Automatic “Tool-break” detection system on all routing units, profile optimisation, 6-axis routing module, High-Speed magnetic positioning system on profile feeding units, 3 High-Speed CNC saw blade capable of producing Mitre / Arrow-heads / “Y” – cuts / 90 degree / “V” Notches and a Special Milling Unit for “V” notches from the opposite side.

Also included is a special system called BDE/BDA Production Statistic package, enabling Jason at any time to view the status of the machines production output together with any other details relating to its functions and operation. The benefits enable true production planning to take place together with maintaining optimum efficiency.
