Customers for products and services of Ritec International Limited are now assured of systems meeting top international standards for quality management and also for environmental management. This is another ‘first’ for Ritec, now the first and only manufacturer of glass surface treatments to achieve certification under both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Several years ago Ritec received certification under ISO 9001, the global standard for quality management systems. This gave customers the assurance that Ritec’s products and services are supplied with close attention to the highest international standards for quality.
Recently Ritec received certification under ISO 14001, the first global standard for environmental management systems. ISO 14001 has become the top environmental standard in the world since its introduction in 1996. This international standard provides “green” credentials to organisations wanting to help in protecting the environment.
ISO 14001 helps to protect the environment because its objective is to minimise any negative effects to air, water or land. This standard is a ‘green’ certification because it covers all operations and processes of an organisation.
Thousands of industrial, commercial and governmental organisations around the world use ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 for these purposes. These standards are organised, managed and controlled by the International Standards Organisation (ISO) based in Geneva.
Certification under both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 gives customers confidence that Ritec’s products and services are produced and supplied according to the top international standards for quality and environmental awareness. Ritec offers the highest levels of product quality and “green” credentials.
