Black iron door hardware

UAP has launched its new black iron door hardware range, made with solid cast iron and finished with a black powder coating, including a door chain, a selection of letter plates a front door handle, an assortment of door knockers and door numerals.

UAP Sales Director, Barry Halpin said: “Black Iron door furniture is the perfect accessory to make a home feel more rustic - combining security with authentic charm. It is sturdy, resilient, attractive and extremely high quality.

“The iron door handle is available with either a 219mm short backplate or a 243mm long backplate and it uses a spring cassette to help the lever provide a smoother operation. We have also done a UAP+ 1 star Kitemarked cylinder, in black, to fully colour match both the handle and the hardware.

“We’ve designed a selection of both letter plates and knockers to suit different tastes, including a fleur-de-lys letter plate and a couple of lion head door knockers which make quite a statement on a door.”
