Stepping out for 2016

GAP, the independent stockist and manufacturer of PVC-U building products, has launched its 2016 Apprenticeship programme to attract the next generation to its 600-plus workforce.

Charles Greensmith, GAP’s joint founder said: “We’re proud to have a wealth of talented and skilled individuals across our business, but are always looking for new and exciting ways to further increase our talent pool. In 2014-15 over 80,000 new Apprentices were recruited across the Northwest region alone; which shows the importance of developing skills among young people. We will be visiting Colleges in the coming weeks and months to attract the best local talent available and to offer the right candidates a ‘step in the right direction’ through an attractive career path.”
