East London based Eurocell Logic and Rehau S706 fabricator Maple Windows has become one of the first customers to incorporate Mila’s newly launched ProLinea Twin Cam Espag on all of its side and top hung windows.
Maple’s team were impressed with the newly launched ProLinea Twin Cam Espag as it further enhanced the quality of frames the company supplies to the trade, commercial and retail markets.
Sales manager Brian Evers said: “We carried out trials with the new Twin Cam Espag which showed it was quicker and easier to fit with improved smoothness and durability.
“By switching completely to the new product, we have also been able to reduce our costs and rationalise our stockholding. Significantly, the Mila product is neatly boxed and not banded like other Twin Cams so it stacks easily in the factory and is clean and non greasy when handled.”
Maple Windows, which manufactures PVCU windows and doors at its factory in Leyton, has been a Mila Hardware customer since 2005, and Mila supplies 90% of its hardware requirements. As well as the new Twin Cam, Mila also supplies products including the ProLinea Espag handle, friction stays and hinge protectors for casements and specialist hardware from Siegenia for Maple’s range of Tilt Before Turn windows.
Maple also benefits from both the support and advice available via Mila’s technical team and the facilities at the newly refurbished Mila Test Centre.
Brian Evers added: “The whole experience at Mila was thoroughly enjoyable – as well as a very knowledgeable team, the facilities are excellent and the new customer viewing area gave us a real insight into the testing process.”
