Roof innovation has PV built in

First details have emerged about Solaris, the roof system claimed to be ‘the future of conservatories’, which is due for launch at FIT in April.

MD Andrew Glover has revealed that the system will be a combination of a solid roof with built-in Solar PV panels. He said: “This new product will not only offer something totally progressive to the homeowner, but will save them money too.

“We are really excited to be launching the Solaris Roof at this year’s FIT Show. Following an extensive period of research and development, we have come up with a unique concept that we believe will bring something truly different to the market. Without revealing too much information at this stage, we have drawn on expertise from all of our areas of business to create something totally new.”

He says the product will be available to the trade as an easy install flat pack. Further details are promised soon and the product will be launched officially on Stand A50 at the show.
