Multi-million pound expansion

CAMDEN GROUP has announced a multi-million pound investment in buildings and machinery to increase capacity for windows and doors at it manufacturing base in Co Antrim.

The machinery investment supported by Haffner Murat will see two NR242 high speed machining centres, plus welding and assembly lines at its door factory as well as in-line welders, specialist machining centres, ancillary cutting centres and high speed sash machining centres housed in an additional factory.

Camden Group Head of Sales Roy Harrison said: “Camden have announced significant investment into its business and are dedicated to driving the business forward, which can only be achieved by investing in the best in class machinery and equipment.

Camden, which this year is celebrating its 35th anniversary read story, has manufacturing facilities covering 40 acres, including onsite recycling and extrusion plants. It has a capacity of 10,000 frames and 20,000 IGUs a week.
