REHAU has updated its consumer website at www.rehauhome.com making it easier to navigate and with an even stronger emphasis on generating enquiries for its network of Authorised Partners.
Changes to the overall content of the site and to the layout and navigation have all been made as a result of extensive research with independent focus groups and with input from Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) specialists. This, REHAU says, will help to ensure that it ranks higher in online searches by homeowners and that once they click on to the site homeowners will be more likely to submit an enquiry.
Sheila Normington, the Authorised Partner coordinator at REHAU, says that there are calls for action throughout the new site, encouraging consumers to find an Authorised Partner in their area, download literature and request a quote.
There are several new features in the new website which Sheila says have been designed to appeal directly to homeowners. One of the most innovative is an online colour selector which allows users to select from three types of property – red brick, stone or rendered, and then view a visualisation of that property fitted with REHAU windows, doors or a conservatory in any one of REHAU’s woodgrain or coloured foiled finishes.
The colour selector even allows users to print off a PDF of their preferred colour choice to use when requesting a quote from an Authorised Partner, and Authorised Partners themselves can insert links to this feature from their own websites if they choose.
Alongside this, there are also new galleries to inspire consumers, downloadable brochures, a blog focused on home improvement and useful information for potential buyers on security, energy efficiency and acoustic performance.
The ‘find an installer’ function remains at the forefront of the website and REHAU has taken the opportunity to overhaul the look of the individual Authorised Partner landing pages which homeowners are directed to when they enter their postcode details.
These pages are now much more intuitive for the first time visitor and also have new separate function buttons for homeowners either to make a general enquiry or to get a quote. This, says Sheila, will help Authorised Partners to track more easily all the enquiries they receive via the website.
REHAU has invested in full SEO for the website so that it will rank highly in online searches for replacement windows, doors and conservatories but it is also supporting the update with a Google Adwords campaign and continuing full colour, full page advertisements in the consumer lifestyle magazines Ideal Home and House Beautiful.
Sheila Normington says: “The REHAU consumer website is already hugely popular, generating more than 6500 hits per month, but websites should always be evolving and improving to reflect how the market is changing and how users want to interact online. The improvements we have made to www.rehauhome.com demonstrate our commitment to that and I am confident they will prove really useful to our customers.”
